BACKGROUND:

On March 14, 2019, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2019-004, which established an Education Advisory Board to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Commission in matters relating to educational issues that impact the quality of education for the residents.

In accordance with Section 2-262 of the Code of Ordinances, each Commissioner shall nominate one person to fill a position of membership on the Education Advisory Board.  This appointment shall be for a one-year term that will expire on the date of the second regularly-scheduled Commission meeting in April 2020.  The Mayor will nominate one person to fill the alternate position.
