A RESOLUTION APPOINTING FIVE (5) REGULAR MEMBERS AND ONE (1) ALTERNATE MEMBER TO THE COMMUNITY OUTREACH ADVISORY BOARD FOR A ONE-YEAR TERM.

BACKGROUND:

On March 14, 2019, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2019-005, which established a Community Outreach Advisory Board to serve in an advisory capacity to the Community Relations Division in matters relating to public relations, website communications, social media, video production, marketing and branding.

In accordance with Section 2-266 of the Code of Ordinances, each Commissioner shall nominate one person to fill a position of membership on the Community Outreach Advisory Board.  This appointment shall be for a one-year term that will expire on the date of the second regularly-scheduled Commission meeting in April 2020.  The Mayor will nominate one person to fill the alternate position.
