BACKGROUND:

In accordance with section 908 of the City’s Charter, the City Commission shall establish and appoint a Re-Districting Board, consisting of five (5) electors of the City holding no other office, except on advisory bodies of the City, one (1) from each district, every five (5) years commencing on August 1.  This appointment shall be for a 90-day term that will expire on October 24, 2018.  At that time, the Re-Districting Board shall submit a report to the City Commission outlining the need for a redistricting, if any, and their recommendations.
