A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ONE (1) REGULAR MEMBER TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING ADVISORY BOARD FOR A TERM ENDING WITH THE NEXT APPOINTMENT IN 2023.

BACKGROUND:

In accordance with Sections 2-191(b) and 13-16(c) of the Code of Ordinances, the City Commission appointed four (4) regular members and one (1) alternate member to the Planning and Zoning Advisory Board on April 28, 2022, by Resolution No. 2022-044, with each Commissioner nominating one (1) regular member and the Mayor nominating the alternate member. The full slate of membership was not appointed due to the vacancy of the Commission seat in District D.

DISCUSSION:

 

This resolution provides for the remaining appointment of one (1) regular member by the newly-appointed City Commissioner for District D.

Currently serving on this Board are members: Jeffrey Barker, Thomas Casey, Steven Hall, Doug Young, and Colleen LaPlant, Alternate.
