BACKGROUND:

On March 14, 2019, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 2019-006, which established a Public Safety Advisory Board to serve in an advisory capacity to the City Commission in matters relating to public safety that may impact the community.

In accordance with Section 2-270 of the Code of Ordinances, each Commissioner shall nominate one person to fill a position of membership on the Public Safety Advisory Board.  This appointment shall be for a term ending with the next appointment in 2021.  The Mayor will nominate one person to fill the alternate position. 

DISCUSSION:

Currently serving on this Board are members:  Lauren Linville, Chair; Robert Flood, Vice Chair; Larry Horak; Margaret Lackner; Benjamin Nazario; and Kevin Sattler, Alternate.
