BACKGROUND:
Please see the attached memo from Chief Albert Arenal to City Manager Mary Blasi explaining the request to purchase items in the amount of $179,750.
DISCUSSION:
The City is committed to protecting its residents and visitors, and to the protection of property, while creating a safe environment for all who live in, work in, or visit our community. The City is also committed to retaining a high-quality workforce and ensuring public safety. The purchase of these items will enhance the Police Department’s ability to ensure public safety.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
