BACKGROUND:

The City entered into an agreement SunGard Public Sector, LLC for Pentamation software license and maintenance services dated September 8, 2016 (“Agreement”). Subsequent to the Agreement, SunGard Public Sector, LLC merged with Ramundsen Public Sector, LLC.  On April 13, 2017, the City entered into a Consent to Assignment Agreement with Ramundsen Public Sector, LLC, as successor by merger to SunGard Public Sector, and Amendment No. 1 to the Agreement to provide for additional training (“Amendment No. 1”). On December 14, 2017, the City entered into Amendment No. 2 for Pentamation Software license and maintenance services to expire on September 30, 2018, and to acknowledge the name change to Ramundsen Public Sector, LLC d/b/a Superion, LLC (“Amendment No. 2”). On March 21, 2018, the City amended the Agreement, Amendment No. 1, and Amendment No. 2 to add Community PLUS Development Training professional services and updated the associated Project Cost Supplement (“Amendment No. 3”).

DISCUSSION:

The parties desire to amend the Agreement, Amendment No. 1, Amendment No. 2, and Amendment No. 3 to update the Project Cost Supplement attached as Exhibit “B” and provide for a renewal of the Pentamation products - FinancePLUS 5.1 and CommunityPLUS 9.1 software licenses and maintenance services for one (1) year until September 30, 2019.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
