BACKGROUND:

 

The Coconut Creek Police Department has met all required standards to become accredited by the Commission for Florida Law Enforcement Accreditation (CFA). The Department met or exceeded more than 200 professional standards and fully complied with all of CFA benchmarks with no exceptions taken. The CFA on-site assessment team conducted a thorough review of agency procedures, operations, and personnel and did not recommend any corrective actions, which they acknowledged was very impressive for an agency during its first accreditation process.
