BACKGROUND:
The Special Events Assistance Program is designed to help non-profit organizations produce cultural, educational, business promotional, and recreational events within the City of Coconut Creek that serve residents and showcase the City’s premier residential and business community. Assistance may be provided in the form of in-kind services or a grant.
There are two application cycles each fiscal year. The first application cycle is available in September for events held during the first six months of the fiscal year (October 1 through March 31), and the second application cycle is available in March for events to be held during the second six months of the fiscal year (April 1 through September 30).
DISCUSSION:
The following applications were received for the October 1, 2018, application cycle:
