The SRO Program is a great benefit to school administration, students, and the community as a whole.  The attached SRO Agreement provides for twelve (12) police officers to work as SROs in the following Coconut Creek schools: Coconut Creek Elementary, Winston Park Elementary, Tradewinds Elementary, Lyons Creek Middle (2), Coconut Creek High (2), Monarch High (2), Atlantic Technical Center, Atlantic Technical College, and Dave Thomas Educational Center West. The Agreement is for twelve (12) SROs for a ten (10) month period, beginning August 8, 2018, and ending June 5, 2019, and there will be one (1) SRO assigned to Atlantic Technical College from June 6, 2019, through August 7, 2019. The City will receive $62,400 per month for twelve (12) SROs for ten (10) months.  Additionally, the City will receive two (2) installments of $5,200 for June 2019 and July 2019 for the one (1) SRO assigned to Atlantic Technical College during those months.
