BACKGROUND:
On January 11, 2018, the City Commission approved a resolution to enter into a Joint Participation Agreement (JPA) with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) that would compensate the City up to $250,000 for the procurement and installation of solar powered LED bike lane delineators along eastbound and westbound Winston Park Boulevard, between Lyons Road and SR 7/US 441, under the scope of the Comprehensive Street Improvements Phase I project. The City Commission also approved a change order to the construction contract by the contractor for the project, Stanford Construction Co., in the amount of $249,782.50 to provide for the installation of the bike lane delineators.
