BACKGROUND:
The League of Women Voters has provided significant leadership in the State of Florida and Broward County in gun violence prevention through community education and the creation of the Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence. The City Commission of the City of Coconut Creek supports the mission of the Broward County Gun Safety Committee and the Florida League of Women Voters coalition to prevent gun violence and the ultimate protection of the residents of Coconut Creek.
