BACKGROUND:
This is a ceremonial procedure to introduce new police officers to the City Commission and our residents.
Police Officers Besada, Calderon, and Pumalo are newly-hired, and Police Officer Hysell has been promoted from Police Service Aide. All four will fill open, budgeted positions. They will complete a 16-20 week Field Training Officer rotation before being assigned to a Police Department patrol team.
