BACKGROUND:

For the last thirteen years, the Parks & Recreation Department and league coaches have nominated and selected recipients for this award based on teamwork and portrayal of good sportsmanship throughout the season. This year there were over 100 participants in the 2017 Coconut Creek Girls Basketball Program.

The recipients of this year’s Mayor’s Award are:

•                     8-10 Age Division - Jaynae Gilbert (Rebels Team) 

•                     11-14 Age Division - Milana Vittoria (Sky Team)
