BACKGROUND:

Pastor Mark Bolhofner from North Creek Presbyterian Church will present the City with a $3,000 donation.  These funds were raised through the 8^th Annual North Creek Explorer 5K Run and Walk held on December 3, 2016.

The donated funds are for the Coconut Creek Police Explorer Program.  This program provides a means for young men and women, ages 14 to 18, to gain actual experience and training to determine if they would like to pursue a career in law enforcement.  The funds will assist in paying for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions, and supplies for the Explorers.
