BACKGROUND:

The City has completed the collective bargaining process with the Police Officers’ and Corporals’ Unit, resulting in a new Collective Bargaining Agreement with a three-year term. 

DISCUSSION:

The City is committed to providing a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to attract and retain highly-qualified employees, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.  This Agreement alters wages, benefits, and other conditions of employment that are deemed to be in the best interests of the City.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
