BACKGROUND:
This is a ceremonial procedure to introduce five new Police Officers to the City Commission and our residents.
The new Police Officers were hired to fill open budgeted positions, ensure public safety, and retain a high-quality workforce. Police Officers Bethancourt, Henry, Padron, Reynolds, and Scherr will complete a 16-20 week Field Training Officer rotation before being assigned to a Police Department team.
