BACKGROUND:
LeadsOnline is a software that has demonstrated its unique capabilities with agencies nationwide, delivering both real-time and historical data quickly, which improves officer safety and community well-being.
DISCUSSION:
The City is committed to protecting its residents and ensuring public safety. LeadsOnline is a search tool that provides an instant alert notification on crime-related pawn transactions, crime trends, and associated suspects from within our jurisdiction and outside our jurisdiction. No other online investigative research tool provides the combination of data features and capabilities as found in LeadsOnline.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
