BACKGROUND:
The Life Saving Commendation Award recognizes police officers for competent and expedient action directly responsible for sustaining or saving human life, or for an act that removes a person from a situation which could have resulted in his or her imminent death. The attached Department Commendation letter details such efforts by Police Officer Nicholas Scherr on June 30, 2019.
