BACKGROUND:
In solidarity with the Parkland community, the City of Coconut Creek would like to recognize February 14, 2022, as a “Day of Service and Love” to honor the memory of the victims, offer continued support for the survivors, and express gratitude for the service of the first responders and healthcare professionals of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School tragedy that occurred on February 14, 2018. This is a day to give back to the community in commemoration of those impacted by this tragedy.
