BACKGROUND:
The City of Coconut Creek proudly recognizes June 2026 as Scleroderma Awareness Month to increase public knowledge of the disease, encourage practices for early detection, celebrate success stories, and support improved services for individuals and families impacted by the disease.
For over 20 years, the annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma fundraiser walk has taken place at Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek, making the City a place of deep significance in raising awareness and critical funds for research and support services.
