BACKGROUND:
The City of Coconut Creek joins with community partners in recognizing April 2025 as “Autism Acceptance Month” as an opportunity to raise public awareness, promote acceptance, and be more inclusive in everyday life in support of helping all affected by autism to achieve the highest quality of life.
Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave.
