BACKGROUND:

The existing irrigation pump station at Sabal Pines Park has exceeded its useful life and is in need of replacement.  On September 25, 2025, through Ordinance 2025-045, the City Commission approved the Fiscal Year 2026 Budget, which included the replacement of this pump station. 

DISCUSSION:

On April 25, 2024, through Motion 24-069, the City Commission approved Hoover Pumping Systems, Inc. as a single source for irrigation pump station replacements for a five (5) year period.  Hoover Pumping Systems, Inc. has provided the City with a proposal in the amount of $112,489.20 to manufacture and replace the existing pump station at Sabal Pines Park.   

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
