BACKGROUND:

The City would like to honor Morris “Chick” Chase on his 100^th birthday and recognize his longstanding and dedicated public service to the City of Coconut Creek and its residents.

Mr. Chase proudly served our country in the United States Army Air Corps and our City as a board member for 16 years, serving on both the Environmental Advisory Board and the Planning and Zoning Board.  He has assisted with critical land use and site development decisions, as well as numerous land development code and comprehension plan amendments. Chick was a frequent volunteer at many City events, sharing his time and expertise with our community.
