BACKGROUND:
For the past 20 years, the City has purchased Wilo USA, LLC pumps to service most of its lift stations. This longstanding practice has created operational efficiencies, including uniformity in maintenance, standardization of equipment, allowing reuse of parts, and creating expertise of the products by field staff. Wilo USA, LLC products are distributed by PSI Technologies, Inc. PSI Technologies, Inc. is not a contractor, but serves as the sole authorized distributor for Wilo USA, LLC original equipment manufacturer (OEM) products, as well as OEM repair and replacement parts. Therefore, PSI Technologies, Inc. is the only source through which the City may procure genuine Wilo equipment and components necessary to maintain existing lift station infrastructure.
