A PRESENTATION RECOGNIZING THE WINSTON PARK ELEMENTARY RECYCLING COMPETITION WINNERS.

BACKGROUND:
This year, the City partnered with Winston Park Elementary School to launch a recycling competition pilot program. Students participated in a school-wide competition that began in April to increase recycling awareness and participation at the City’s Drop-off Center. This program educated students on the City’s recycling efforts, zero-waste principals, and how to be environmental stewards.
The City would like to recognize the following three (3) winners of the competition, as well as school staff who helped lead the way to improved recycling and environmental stewardship in our City:

• London Phillippe-Pennachio
• Assistant Principal Mark Andriesse
