BACKGROUND:

The City entered into an Employment Agreement with Sheila N. Rose as City Manager dated March 28, 2024, which agreement provided for a three (3) year term, commencing on April 6, 2024 and expiring on April 5, 2027, with the possibility of extensions so long as both parties agree in writing at least one hundred and eighty (180) days prior to the expiration of the agreement.

DISCUSSION:

The City of Coconut Creek and Sheila N. Rose desire to extend the Employment Agreement for a three (3) year term, commencing on April 6, 2027 and expiring on April 5, 2030.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this resolution.

NOTES:                     Expenditures will be made from the appropriate payroll accounts in the City Manager Department's budget.
