BACKGROUND:
The City is committed to providing a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to attract and retain highly-qualified employees, while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
DISCUSSION:
The City has completed the collective bargaining process with the Lieutenants’ Unit, resulting in a new collective bargaining agreement with a three-year term. The agreement alters wages, benefits, and other conditions of employment that are deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this resolution.

REVENUES: $ 0
EXPENDITURES: Estimated $50,000 in FY20, with some variations possible based on employee work schedules and benefit selections.
