BACKGROUND:
The City of Coconut Creek joins with community partners in recognizing April 2026 as “Autism Acceptance Month” to raise public awareness, promote acceptance, and support community members affected by autism to achieve the highest quality of life.
Autism, or Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), is a neurological and developmental disorder that affects how people interact with others, communicate, learn, and behave.
