BACKGROUND:
The City’s strategic plan, Vision 2030, highlights resiliency and resource stewardship as priorities within our community. In alignment with these priorities, the City recognizes September 28 - October 4, 2026, as “Food Waste Prevention Week” to raise awareness of food waste prevention and encourage all residents to commit to taking steps to reduce food waste in their homes, workplaces, and communities.
