A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TOWNSHIP COMMUNITY MASTER ASSOCIATION (TCMA) PHASE 1 APPLICATION FOR MATCHING GRANT FUNDS FROM THE NEIGHBORHOOD ENHANCEMENT GRANT PROGRAM FOR LANDSCAPE ENHANCEMENTS.

BACKGROUND:
As part of an earlier Neighborhood Enhancement Grant, TCMA has been approved for a five year restoration plan. The City funded $20,000 towards this plan, which passed based on mutual commitments. TCMA is requesting an additional $20,000 in matching funds for Phase 1 of the multi-phase project; which is the second Neighborhood Enhancement Grant request of FY 2017.
DISCUSSION:
This request is a reimbursement for work completed in accordance with the multi-phase design. Specifically, TCMA Phase 1 enhancements include five neighborhoods within the Township Community: Sawgrass Village I, Golden Raintree III, Bayport Village, Pond Apple II and Golden Raintree II. The grant application was for Sawgrass Village I and Golden Raintree III. The total cost for Sawgrass Village I and Golden Raintree III is $184,768.38. The final component of Phase 1 has been submitted to planning for review.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this Resolution in the full amount of $20,000. The Resolution has been drafted to effectuate this recommendation.
