BACKGROUND:
Junior Achievement of South Florida (JA) is a nonprofit organization located on the Broward College North Campus in Coconut Creek, Florida that helps students build the skills and confidence they need to thrive in today's global economy. Through hands-on lessons in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship, JA gives students the tools to explore meaningful careers, start businesses, and develop values that strengthen workplaces. Each year, with the help of more than 7,000 volunteers, JA reaches over 50,000 students from Broward and south Palm Beach counties at its JA World Huizenga Center.

Coconut Creek's two (2) sponsored government storefronts in BizTown give these students a firsthand look at municipal careers and the role of local government, serves as a platform for the City to engage with the community, and provides economic development, networking, and branding opportunities for the City.
