BACKGROUND:
Phil Randazzo has proudly served the City of Coconut Creek for 24 years. He started with the City in 1997 as a part-time Recreation Aide, and from the beginning, it was clear he was dedicated, hardworking, and reliable. Phil was quickly promoted to Full-Time Recreation Leader I, and then Full-Time Recreation Leader II. As the years passed, Phil’s responsibilities grew and he was promoted to Recreation Coordinator, Recreation Supervisor, Athletic Supervisor, Recreation Supervisor, District Supervisor, and finally Parks & Recreation Superintendent.
Phil has been passionate about his role in serving the community; and Coconut Creek’s park system is what it is today in part because of his commitment, dedication, and leadership. He has always taken great pride in providing quality recreation for residents to improve their physical well-being. Phil will be dearly missed, but he can be proud of all the work he accomplished and the difference he has made to the City of Coconut Creek over the past 24 years.
