BACKGROUND:

In 2019, the City entered into a sole source software subscription services agreement with GovernmentJobs.com, Inc. dba NEOGOV (hereinafter “NEOGOV”) for a web-based employment application management platform.  The initial term of the contract expires this year, with an option to renew.

DISCUSSION:

The 2019 agreement was submitted and approved as a sole source provider, with a total cost of $43,410.95 for the initial five (5) year term.  The initial agreement provided the option to extend the agreement for one (1) five (5) year renewal term, with up to a five percent (5%) fee increase per year of the extension. The City desires to exercise its option to renew the agreement for the five (5) year renewal term at a total additional cost of $49,997.78.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
