A MOTION REAPPOINTING A DIRECTOR TO THE BROWARD LEAGUE OF CITIES FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE 2014-2015 YEAR.

BACKGROUND:
Each March, the Broward League of Cities (BLC) asks each Broward City to appoint a Municipal Director, Alternate and Second Alternate to attend and vote at any Board of Director or General Membership Meeting of the BLC. At our March 27, 2014 Commission meeting, the Coconut Creek Commissioners appointed the following commissioners to serve:
Director: Mayor Lisa K. Aronson
Alternate: Commissioner Lou Sarbone
Second Alternate: Commissioner Mikkie Belvedere.
DISCUSSION:
Due to the resignation of Mayor Lisa K. Aronson, a new director needs to be appointed to fill remainder of the Director's term.
