A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER, OR DESIGNEE, TO EXECUTE A SINGLE SOURCE SUBSCRIPTION AND SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GRANICUS, LLC TO PROVIDE FOR THE CONTINUED USE OF THE LEGISLATIVE MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE SUITE FOR A THREE (3) YEAR TERM.

BACKGROUND:
For the past eleven (11) years, the City of Coconut Creek has been using the Legislative Management Software Suite provided by Granicus, LLC to provide legislative management solutions for City staff and residents. Granicus' Legislative Management Suite is an automated solution designed to reduce workloads, create a more efficient method for managing decisions, and provide public access to government operations.
The City entered into a "piggyback" agreement with Granicus in 2014 under the City of Colorado Springs Contract No. C007210. This piggyback agreement expired, and a Single Source Master Subscription Agreement was approved for the period of January 1, 2019, through December 31, 2021, with the option to renew for two (2) additional two (2) year periods. Both renewal options were exercised, and the City's Agreement with Granicus expires on December 31, 2025; therefore, it is necessary for the City to execute a new single source agreement with Granicus.
DISCUSSION:
The City is committed to providing valuable public services, expanding E-government access, and ensuring compliance with State law. This software suite has become the City's standard for agenda management, providing a comprehensive solution to efficiently manage the entire legislative process from start to finish, including legislative drafting, publication, subscription tools, in-meeting management, streaming and archiving services, and closed captioning.
