BACKGROUND:

The City applied for and was awarded a United States Department of Justice (DOJ) Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) through FDLE for the Citizen Engagement and Feedback Program in the amount of $7,029.00.

DISCUSSION:

DOJ, through FDLE, awarded the City a grant to purchase PowerEngage, a software that will assist with measuring citizen/customer satisfaction with automatic text surveys.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
