BACKGROUND:
The Lifesaving Commendation Award recognizes police officers for competent and expedient action directly responsible for sustaining or saving human life, or for an act that removes a person from a situation which would have resulted in his or her imminent death. The attached Department Commendation letters detail such efforts by Police Sergeant Brian Mullin and a private citizen, Mr. Rayan Issa, on February 3, 2021.
