BACKGROUND:
Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and social distancing measures, this year, the National Park Trust is bringing the parks to kids.
In the past, this recognition has been known as “National Kids to Park Day” to celebrate the history of national parks in the United States and encourage kids to enjoy their local, county, state, and federal parks.
This year, the National Park Trust is encouraging kids to explore their backyards and their neighborhoods with activities and virtual learning.
