BACKGROUND:
The City of Coconut Creek would like to recognize the dedicated service of Commissioner Mikkie Belvedere upon her retirement. Commissioner Belvedere was first elected to the City Commission on March 10, 2009.
During her tenure as a City Commissioner, Mikkie served as:
o Vice Mayor - 2011/2012, 2012/2013, and 2015/2016
o Mayor - 2016/2017
Prior to being elected to the City Commission, Mikkie served on the following boards and committees:
o 2004 - 2008 Environmental Advisory Board (Chair)
o 2008 - 2009 Planning & Zoning Board
o 2008 - 2009 Affordable Housing Advisory Committee (Planning & Zoning Member)
