A PRESENTATION OF THE COCONUT CREEK MAYOR’S AWARD FOR THE 2024 BOYS BASKETBALL LEAGUE.

BACKGROUND:
The Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with league coaches, annually nominates and selects recipients for the Mayor’s Award from a diverse field of participants in each league. Selection is based on teamwork and portrayal of good sportsmanship throughout the season.
This year’s awards will be presented to five (5) players from the 2024 Boys Basketball League who exemplified outstanding sportsmanship and promoted a positive experience for all participants.
The 2024 Coconut Creek Boys Basketball League Mayor’s Award recipients are:
• 7U Division - Kaileb Griffin (Heat team)
• 9U Division - Kamden Myrie (Lakers team)
• 11U Division - Chayse Baxter (Raptors team)
• 13U Division - Joseph VanDerVoort (Thunder team)
• 16U Division - Bryan Alvin (Lakers team)
