BACKGROUND:

The City will be entering into an agreement with Tritech Software Systems to purchase an IQ Subscription Service License for CrimeView Dashboard and CrimeMapping software that will provide the City with access to BSO’s databases.

DISCUSSION:

Entering into this Interagency Agreement and sharing law enforcement information through the CrimeView Dashboard will provide the Coconut Creek Police Department a powerful analytic tool to give timely visualization of trends and patterns of crimes to be used for strategic and tactical operations to combat crime. The Agreement provides for a one-year term upon the date of execution, with automatic renewals, unless otherwise terminated.

RECOMMENDATION:

Staff recommends approval of this Resolution.
