A MOTION TO ACCEPT FOR FILING AS THE RECORD COPY WITH THE CITY CLERK THE ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE FINANCIAL REPORT (ACFR), WHICH ALSO INCLUDES THE OTHER INDEPENDENT AUDITOR’S REPORTS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2025.

BACKGROUND:
On an annual basis, and in coordination with its independent auditors, the City prepares and files with the City Clerk the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR), which presents the City’s financial position and activities for the preceding fiscal year.
DISCUSSION:
The ACFR has been provided to the City Commission under separate cover.
Acceptance of the ACFR for filing does not signify that the City Commission has reviewed or completed its discussion of the report. Rather, it acknowledges delivery of the audit report to each member of the governing body in compliance with the requirements of the Auditor General. Commissioners are encouraged to review the ACFR and related documents and to discuss any questions with staff at any time, either before or after the meeting.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this motion.
