A PRESENTATION OF THE COCONUT CREEK GIRLS’ BASKETBALL MAYOR’S AWARD.

BACKGROUND:
The Parks and Recreation Department, in conjunction with league coaches, annually nominates and selects recipients for the Girls’ Basketball Mayor’s Award from a field of almost 100 participants.
Selection is based on teamwork and portrayal of good sportsmanship throughout the season. This year’s award will be presented to three (3) youth basketball players from the 2019 Coconut Creek Girls’ Basketball program who exemplified outstanding sportsmanship and promoted a positive experience for all the participants.
The 2019 Girls’ Basketball Mayor’s Award recipients are:
10U Division - Piper Burford
12U Division - Brook Swaby
15U Division - Sofia Corgan
