BACKGROUND:
The purpose of the Invitation For Bids (IFB) No. 09-07-22-12 is to contract with a qualified and professional company to provide Sports Officiating Services, on an as needed basis, for the Parks and Recreation Department’s recreational sports leagues. The City’s previous agreement for sports officiating services expired on October 1, 2022.
DISCUSSION:
On August 21, 2022, the City issued IFB No. 09-07-22-12 for Sports Officiating Services. On September 7, 2022, the City opened bid submittals from three (3) companies, including: 1) Team Services Florida, LLC; 2) SuperSports of Broward County, Inc.; and 3) Teddy Brown Official Business. The bid submitted by Teddy Brown Official Business was determined to be non-responsive; none of the required documents were submitted. SuperSports of Broward County, Inc. withdrew their bid submission. It was determined that Team Services Florida, LLC submitted a responsive and responsible bid. The initial term of the agreement is for three (3) years with the option to renew for two (2) additional one (1) year periods.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
