BACKGROUND:
The City has budgeted for the construction of a temporary fire station to be located on the City-owned property on Wiles Road behind the Home Depot.
DISCUSSION:
The site selected for the temporary fire station requires the design of certain improvements including, but not limited to, a driveway, parking lot, water and sewer connections, sidewalk, pavement markings, etc. to accommodate the fire trailer. CRJ & Associates is a qualified firm on the City’s approved General Professional Engineering Services list and has provided a proposal to perform the necessary design services in the amount of $70,150.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this resolution.
