BACKGROUND:
On September 3, 2017, the City issued Request for Proposals (RFP) No. 09-27-17-10 to contract with a qualified proposer to provide an entertainment package for the Butterfly Festival, including the talent and entertainment for the main stage act, the main stage with lighting and sound, the sound for the City Showmobile, and all the electrical needs for the main stage, lighting, and sound.
DISCUSSION:
Solicitations were electronically sent to 25 prospective vendors, 12 documents were downloaded, and no responses were received by the opening date on September 27, 2017. Due to time constraints, staff will seek an alternative option to secure entertainment for the 2018 Butterfly Festival.
RECOMMENDATION:
Staff recommends approval of this Motion.
