BACKGROUND:
Every year, during the second week of April, telecommunications personnel in the public safety community are honored. The City recognizes April 9-15, 2023, as “National Telecommunications Week” as a time to celebrate and thank the Coconut Creek Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center (RTCC) employees and the Coral Springs/Parkland/Coconut Creek Emergency Communications Center telecommunicators, who dedicate their lives to serving our City, our citizens, and our public safety personnel 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
