BACKGROUND:
In an effort to retain a high quality workforce, the police department’s General Order #54, Recognizing Outstanding and Courageous Performance, is designed to formally recognize acts of unusual, outstanding, or courageous performance and service to the community.
The City of Coconut Creek is presenting two (2) Police Officers with the department’s Lifesaving Commendation Award. This award recognizes officers for competent and expedient action, which is directly responsible for sustaining or saving human life, or an act which removes a person from a situation which would have resulted in their imminent death.
