BACKGROUND:
Pastor Mark Bolhofner from North Creek Presbyterian Church will present the City with an $8,000 donation for the Coconut Creek Police Explorer Program. These funds were raised through the 17th Annual North Creek Explorer 5K Run and Walk held on December 6, 2025.
The Coconut Creek Police Explorer Program provides a means for young men and women, ages 14 to 18, to gain actual experience and training to determine if they would like to pursue a career in law enforcement. The funds will assist in paying for uniforms, equipment, trips, regional competitions, and supplies for the Explorers.
